Common Questions
How do I move my progress to another device?
Life is Ranked does not use a traditional username and password account system. Continuity is handled through your on-device profile plus private iCloud restore. Use the same Apple ID on the new device, then use the app's iCloud restore flow if needed. Restore Purchases only restores Pro access. It does not rebuild your progress history by itself.
Why are my steps, strain, or workout details missing?
Those features depend on HealthKit access. Open Life is Ranked Settings, connect HealthKit, and make sure Apple Health permissions are granted for the relevant categories. Step tracking, strain, recovery, and workout-aware coaching depend on that access being available.
Why is Screen Time Wager not shielding apps correctly?
Screen Time Wager requires Family Controls authorization and a valid app selection. For the best results, select individual apps instead of broad categories. If categories are selected instead of specific apps, behavior can be less precise.
How does Morning Momentum work?
Morning Momentum uses iOS alarm access to schedule a real wake-up alarm. If the feature stops behaving as expected, confirm that Morning Momentum is still enabled in the app, your alarm time is still set correctly, and the device still allows alarm access.
Are food photo calories, macros, and body fat readings exact?
No. Meal-photo calories and macros are estimates, and body-fat outputs in the app are also estimates. They are useful for trend tracking and coaching context, but they are not a medical diagnosis or lab measurement.
Why did Clyde, avatar generation, or meal-photo analysis fail?
AI-powered features need an active network connection and working backend services. Journey generation, daily task generation, weekly review generation, workout generation, daily quotes, avatar generation, and food-photo analysis can fail if the device is offline or if the AI worker is temporarily unavailable. Some AI features are also gated behind Pro.
What becomes public if I use the Guild?
If you enter the Guild, your public Guild profile can include your display name, avatar, class, level, rank, streak, rank points, and related progression stats. If you post in Guild or discussion spaces, your posts, replies, likes, and attached discussion photos may also be visible to other users.
